Mylium
wordpress website
Mylium is an R&D start-up dedicated to developing high-tech biomaterials using natural fungal fibres, mycelium.

The start-up has been low profile since its establishment in 2018 and was ready to establish an online presence. During my 10-week internship, I developed a brand strategy and identity and translated this into a social media strategy and website. I built the website in WordPress using the Divi page builder.

Fashion companies are talking about environmental and social responsibilities more than ever before, but the industry’s rhetoric on sustainability is far ahead of companie’s action.
Mylium envisions a safe and clean materiel production process where nothing is wasted. Showing a positive outlook to the future, the website communicates their vision as a material R&D company and the versatility and adaptability of their technology within the fashion industry.
With a total of four pages, the website provides informational content to show expertise and transparency.

Not only does the colour palette resemble the colours of mycelium and its fruiting body, but these earth tones are also evocative of the natural world. Paired with other neutrals such as black, white or gray, earth tones appear chic and elegant.
